Our families mean everything to us, and that’s why this Christmas means a lot more than any other year. 2020 has been a year that none of us will ever forget,  and now is the time to celebrate and come together and enjoy this festive season.

So, please, come and join us for your Christmas celebration; enjoy a table within the restaurant, a drink with the open roaring fires in the pub, or for an exclusive experience, our private dining suites are available to hire as well.

Christmas Day & Boxing Day Celebrations

We are now taking reservations for Christmas Day & Boxing Day lunch. Tables in the restaurant are available for up to 6 guests between 12pm and 4pm. If your family or support bubble is larger, then we have availability in our private dining rooms.

Our 5 course menu available on Christmas Day is £125 per person, with a 3 course children’s menu available for £49.95. On Boxing Day we will be offering a 3 course menu for £55, with a 3 children’s menu available at £25 per person. You can view the menus on our festive brochure.

New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day

We’re still hopeful that we will be able to ring in the New Year together, but our plans are subject to government guidance.

Book your table today for our Greatest Showman themed New Year’s Eve dinner from 6.30 until 10pm, with live entertainment.

Dine from our 6 course menu with a glass of Champagne for £115 per person. Highlights include; Aylesbury duck liver parfait, poached & roasted quince, cinnamon brioche, Cannelloni of native lobster, braised fennel & citrus beurre blanc and Fillet of Herefordshire beef Wellington, roast shallot purée, honey & ginger glazed carrots, winter truffle butter. 

On New Year’s Day we’re taking reservations from 12pm until 5pm and are offering a 2 or 3 course menu for £34 or £42 per person. Bespoke wine pairings & vegan options are available. You can view the menus on our festive brochure.

Born in Romford and bought up in Brentwood, our early inspiration and memories stem from beautiful Essex.

It was where we used to fish and scrump (the art of subtly swiping fruit from an allotment or an overhanging tree in someone’s garden). So this part of the world means everything to us – a place responsible for everything that has resulted since.
