Getting to Galvin La Chapelle
What is the closest station?
Galvin La Chapelle is a five minute walk from London Liverpool Street station.
Is there parking?
There is some off street parking available near the restaurant.
Where is the closest car park?
The nearest carpark is Finsbury Circus.
How close are you to The Shard?
The Shard is approximately a half an hour walk away from Galvin La Chapelle, or you can easily take public transport or a taxi.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Galvin La Chapelle is wheelchair accessible, however, you will need to enter the building via the Galvin Bistrot & Bar entrance located on Bishop’s Square. You will be greeted by our team who will show you through to the main dining floor in Galvin La Chapelle, which is accessed via an internal door.
Are there accessible toilets?
There are accessible toilets in Galvin Bistrot & Bar, which customers of Galvin La Chapelle can access.
Is ‘The Gallery’ wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately The Gallery is not wheelchair accessible as this is up a flight of stairs. We can arrange semi-private functions on the ground floor should this be a requirement for your event.
At the restaurant
Do you have a dress code?
Our dress code is smart casual. In keeping with our dress code we would ask guests to refrain from wearing casual items including but not limited to flip flops, tracksuit, sliders or workout trainers, ripped or distressed jeans, beachwear or athleisure.
Can I BYO wine or Champagne?
Guests are welcome to bring up to two bottles of wine or Champagne. There is a corkage charge of £65 per bottle at Galvin La Chapelle or £130 for a magnum.
If you wish to BYO fine wines or Champagnes or a larger format, please contact the restaurant so that our sommelier can quote you an appropriate corkage charge.
Can I come for drinks only?
Reservations are for dining guests only, if you wish to join us for drinks at our bar, you are welcome to do so on a walk-in basis. Please speak with the reception team on arrival to see if we can accommodate you.
Birthdays and Celebrations
Can I bring a celebration cake?
You can bring your own cake if you wish.
Please note that if you bring your own cake, but do not order desserts, there will be a dessert charge of £10 per person.
Can I pre- order a cake from you?
We can arrange a chocolate sponge cake. Please note that cakes must be ordered at least 48 hours in advance. We can customise the cake with a message and will provide candles on request.
The cake serves up to four people, and is priced at £65.
Do you do something special for birthdays or celebrations?
If you order a dessert, we can add a beautiful and elegant Happy Birthday message on a chocolate layer and a birthday candle – please arrange this with our reception team when you reserve. We provide this with our compliments and it is perfect for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries or retirement celebrations.

Are children welcome?
Children of all ages are welcome at Galvin La Chapelle
Do you have highchairs?
We do have highchairs available, when you make a reservation, please request a highchair with the team. Please note on busy days we may not be able to accommodate all requests.
Is there a children’s menu?
We do offer a children’s menu for children up to the age of 12. It is £20 for two courses.
Do you have children’s activities?
Please speak with our reception team as we can provide colouring in, and we do usually have some toys & books available to entertain the kids!

Menus and Dietary Requirements
Do you offer a Sunday Roast?
Yes, every Sunday we have a Sunday Roast available on the a la carte menu and our prix fixe menu.
Can you cater for vegans and vegetarians?
Yes, we have vegan and vegetarian options on our a la carte, prix fixe and we also offer vegan and vegetarian tasting menus
Can you accommodate Kosher guests?
Guests who keep Kosher are welcome at the restaurant, however, they will need to order food themselves & arrange for delivery to the restaurant.
We recommend Hermolis Kosher food company.
Please note that we will charge £25 per person for Kosher meals delivered to the restaurant.
Can you arrange Halal food?
We can order and prepare halal chicken with at least 48 hours’ notice.
Cancelling your reservation:
A cancellation fee of £50 per person will be applied should a reservation be cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, or if the guests do not show up.
Depending on the size or date of your reservation an alternative cancellation or no-show policy may apply, this will be detailed on your confirmation email.
