Chelmsford Book Club: Author Event with Torie True

On 3rd of February 2026, we are delighted to welcome Torie True to The Green Man Book Club.

Torie will be discussing her book, Seven Kitchens, an exploration of the remarkable diversity of Indian cuisine. The book delves into the culinary traditions, techniques, flavours and ingredients of seven distinct communities across India.

Ticket Pricing & Signed Book Included

The event will take place in our restaurant and includes a two-course set menu, priced at £65 per person, which also includes a signed copy of the book.

Lunch Timings & Pre-Drinks

Guests are welcome to arrive for pre-lunch drinks in the bar from 11.30am. Seating will begin at 12.00pm, with the talk commencing at 12.45pm, after which the table will be yours to enjoy lunch.

Wine pairings and drinks packages will be available to add on during the event.
