Getting to Galvin Bistrot & Bar

What is the closest station?
Galvin Bistrot & Bar is a five minute walk from London Liverpool Street station.

Is there parking?
There is some off street parking available near the restaurant.

Where is the closest car park?
The nearest carpark is Finsbury Circus.

How close are you to The Shard?
The Shard is approximately a half an hour walk away from Galvin Bistrot & Bar, or you can easily take public transport or a taxi.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
All areas of Galvin Bistrot & Bar are wheelchair accessible.

Are there accessible toilets?
Yes, we have accessible toilets.

At the restaurant

Do you have a dress code?
Our dress code is smart casual.

Can I BYO wine or Champagne?
Guests are welcome to bring up to two bottles of their own wine or Champagne per booking. There is a corkage charge from £30 per bottle.

Can I come for drinks only?
Reservations are for dining guests only, if you wish to join us for drinks, you are welcome to do so on a walk-in basis. Please speak with the team on arrival to see if we can accommodate you.

Are dogs welcome at Bistrot & Bar?
Dogs are welcome on our outside terrace. Our terrace is covered, heated & blankets are provided for colder days.

Birthdays and Celebrations

Can I bring a celebration cake?
You can bring your own cake if you wish.

Please note that if you bring your own cake, but do not order desserts, there will be a dessert charge of £5 per person.

Can I pre- order a cake from you?
We can arrange a chocolate sponge cake. Please note that cakes must be ordered at least 72 hours in advance.

The cake serves up to four people, and is priced at £65.

Do you do something special for birthdays or celebrations?
If you order a dessert, we can customise the plate with a message- please arrange this with our reception team when you reserve. We provide this with our compliments and it is perfect for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries or retirement celebrations.

Families and Children

Are children welcome?
Children of all ages are welcome at Galvin Bistrot & Bar.

Do you have highchairs?
We do have highchairs available, when you make a reservation, please request a highchair with the team. Please note on busy days we may not be able to accommodate all requests.

Is there a children’s menu?
We do offer a children’s menu for children up to the age of 12.

Menus and Dietary Requirements

Can you cater for vegans and vegetarians?
Yes, we have vegan and vegetarian options on our menus.

Can you accommodate Kosher guests?
Guests who keep Kosher are welcome at the restaurant, however, they will need to order food themselves & arrange for delivery to the restaurant.

Please note that we will charge £25 per person for Kosher meals delivered to the restaurant.

Can you arrange Halal food?
We can order and prepare halal chicken with at least 48 hours’ notice.

Cancellation policy

Cancelling a reservation of any size on the Bistrot & Bar terrace:

A cancellation fee of £50 per person will be applied should a reservation be cancelled or amended with less than 48 hours notice, or if the guests do not show up.

Depending on the size or date of your reservation an alternative cancellation or no-show policy may apply, this will be detailed on your confirmation email.
