A month of Chocolate

For the month of February, Galvin at The Athenaeum will become a chocolate-lovers paradise – filled with mouth-watering cocoa-based dishes, a chocolate-themed afternoon tea and a unique guided tasting. Food Writer and Chocolate Consultant, Cat Black has been the brains behind this delicious concept – sourcing a handful of artisanal chocolate makers from across the UK and appointing MasterChef finalists, Alex Talbot and Geoff Warburton to create the menus.

Valentine’s Day

14th – 16th February

Indulge in a three-course menu featuring creamy Burrata with truffle shavings, a melt-in-the-mouth Chateaubriand and a decadent chocolate sphere.

Gourmet Getaway at Luxury Mayfair Hotel

Enjoy a mouthwatering five-course tasting menu complete with wine pairings, before retiring to your luxury room, suite or residence. After a blissful night’s sleep, return to Galvin at The Athenaeum for yet more delicious fare.

Whisky Masterclass

Renowned for its extensive whisky collection, The Bar at The Athenaeum promises a sumptuous setting for a unique whisky tasting. Hosted by our very own barman, Giovanni Castorina, our one hour masterclasses include four 25ml whiskies, complete with perfectly-paired cheeses.
