Christmas Parties at Pub Restaurant in Essex

Our 4 private dining rooms upstairs are ideal for smaller Christmas celebrations for up to 14 guests. You can choose between our Classic or Galvin Deluxe Christmas Set Menu crafted by Chris Galvin and our Head Chef Dan Lee.

Enjoy traditional festive dishes such as fillet of Herefordshire beef wellington, parsnip purée, Heritage carrots, truffle butter & bone marrow jus or Great Garnetts Turkey with pigs in blankets, chestnut & cranberry stuffing, duck fat roast potatoes, Brussels sprouts & honey roast parsnips.

Canapés Receptions

We can also organise canapés receptions for up to 20 guests in our pub. Our selection includes hot & cold canapés to complement your favourite festive tipple.

During the festive period, our set lunch and dinner menu is available for tables of 1 to 14 people in the restaurant.

Boxing Day

26th December

Enjoy a nice country walk with the pooch and the family and then join us in our cosy pub for a lovely Boxing Day lunch.

Start with Aylesbury duck liver parfait, quince purée & toasted brioche for main, choose Slow cooked Daube of venison with celeriac, trompettes, quince & chestnuts; and for dessert, indulge in Valrhona chocolate fondant, crystallised pistachio & pistachio ice cream.

The menu is priced at £55 per person for three courses.
